Chocolate Heart Treats (Printable Version)

Rich layered chocolates filled with nuts and dried fruits, shaped like hearts for Valentine’s fun.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Chocolates

01 - 50 g white chocolate
02 - 100 g milk chocolate
03 - 200 g dark chocolate

→ Extras

04 - A pinch of sea salt
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - ½ cup dried fruits
07 - 1 cup mixed nuts

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Carefully pop the chocolates out of their molds and lay them out on a plate to get ready for serving.
02 - Stick the molds in the fridge and let the chocolates chill for about 30 to 40 minutes until they’re solid.
03 - Melt the milk chocolate and gently drizzle it over the filled molds to create a cool layered look.
04 - Pour the chocolate mix into heart-shaped molds slowly. Give the molds a light tap on the counter to pop any air bubbles out.
05 - Add the dried fruits and mixed nuts to the melted chocolate and gently mix to cover everything evenly.
06 - Stir in the vanilla and the salt to the melted dark chocolate so the taste spreads all around.
07 - Slowly warm up the dark chocolate in a heat-safe bowl over simmering water, stirring the whole time until it’s shiny and smooth.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Don’t let the chocolate get too hot or it won’t stay smooth.
02 - Tapping the molds helps get rid of trapped air for a better finish.
