When finished baking, leave the cookies on the pan for about 5 minutes. Then move them to a wire rack so they can cool off completely.

Bake them at 175°C for around 10 to 12 minutes. They should feel firm but soft in the middle.

Use a tablespoon to make dough balls. Place them on a sheet of parchment.

Press each dough ball lightly with a fork to make a design. Then sprinkle with salt, chocolate chips, or hazelnuts if you want.

Stir the flour in gently until you don’t see dry bits, but don’t mix too much.

Combine the Nutella and egg in a bowl. Stir till smooth and even.

Get the oven going at 175°C and wait till it’s fully hot.
