Heat the oven up to 220°C and cover a baking tray with parchment.

Wash broccoli under cold water and dry it completely.

Press each floret lightly with a glass or measuring cup so they’re a bit squished.

Put broccoli on the tray. Pour olive oil on top, then sprinkle garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix it all so every piece is covered.

Bake for 20 minutes until the edges turn nice and golden brown.

Take it out, cool for a moment, then dig in while it’s warm.
