Creamy Peanut Spread (Print Version)

Blend up super creamy peanut butter with a handful of ingredients in 20 minutes or less. Perfect for sandwiches, snacks, or baking.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (you can skip this)
02 - 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) salt
03 - 2 cups (300 g) peanuts

# Steps:

01 - Scoop the finished peanut butter into a clean jar and pop it in the fridge so it stays fresh longer.
02 - Want it sweet? Pour in some honey or maple syrup, then whirl it all together one more time.
03 - Blend peanuts and salt in your food processor until it turns smooth and silky. Scrape down the bowl sides every so often so it all mixes up nicely.
04 - Move your cooled peanuts and salt into the food processor, getting ready to blend.
05 - After roasting, take the tray out and leave the peanuts to cool off for a bit so your blender doesn't get too warm.
06 - Toss peanuts on a lined baking tray, then roast them in a hot oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. Wait until they look golden and smell awesome.

# Notes:

01 - Cutting back on sodium? Use unsalted peanuts and add just as much salt as you like.
02 - No need for sweetener if you want yours to taste only salty.
