Peach Iced Tea (Print Version)

Peachy iced tea gets fresh syrup, zippy lemon, and black tea—awesome on the rocks for any outdoor hang.

# Ingredients:

→ Peach Syrup

01 - 200 grams white sugar
02 - 240 millilitres water
03 - 300 grams frozen peaches

→ Iced Tea

04 - 240 millilitres peach syrup, or more if you want it sweeter
05 - Juice of 2 lemons
06 - 2 teaspoons baking soda
07 - 8 black tea bags
08 - 1.9 litres water

# Steps:

01 - Let everything sit after simmering for around 30 minutes so it’s not hot anymore. Simmer those peaches, water, and sugar in a small saucepan on medium for about 10 minutes, giving it a stir now and then.
02 - Push the peach syrup through a mesh strainer. Toss what's left or keep the peach bits for something fancy on top.
03 - Boil 950 millilitres of water in a medium pan, then pop in your black tea bags and let them soak for 5 minutes.
04 - Fill up a 2-litre pitcher with the rest of the cold water. Take out the tea bags and give 'em a gentle squeeze to get that last bit of liquid, then pour in all your brewed tea.
05 - Mix in the baking soda, lemon juice, and as much peach syrup as you like. Give it a taste and add extra syrup if you need. Pop it in the fridge for at least an hour and pour over ice when you’re ready. Lemon slices on top are a nice touch if you want.

# Notes:

01 - You can scoop out the peaches you cooked and toss them in your glass or dessert for a little something extra.
