PB Hot Cocoa (Print Version)

Smooth cocoa and peanut butter come together for a rich, cozy drink that warms you right up.

# Ingredients:

β†’ Base

01 - 18 g smooth peanut butter (the regular kind, not the natural one)
02 - 240 ml milk (use whatever kind you have)
03 - 1 tablespoon water
04 - 7 g plain cocoa powder, unsweetened
05 - 25 g white sugar

β†’ Optional toppings

06 - Peanut butter sauce
07 - Whipped cream

# Steps:

01 - Once it's nice and hot, pour your drink into a 240 ml mug. If you feel like it, add a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of peanut butter sauce on top.
02 - Now toss in the peanut butter and milk. Stir it up good. Keep heating it up, giving it a mix every now and then, until it’s hot and the peanut butter melts in smoothly.
03 - Mix sugar, cocoa powder, and water in a small pan over medium heat. Keep stirring until the cocoa and sugar are all dissolved and blended together.

# Notes:

01 - If you want the microwave route, chuck cocoa, sugar, and water in a mug and zap it for 15 seconds. Stir, throw in the peanut butter, mix again, add milk, microwave until steaming, and give it one last stir.
02 - To make peanut butter sauce, just combine 2 tablespoons corn syrup with 1 tablespoon peanut butter in a microwave-safe dish. Heat for 10–20 seconds, wait for the bubbles, then stir until it's totally smooth.
