Pink Lavender Drink (Print Version)

Tangy Meyer lemon, sweet strawberries, and floral lavender come together for a crisp and bright pink sip, made for sunny hangouts.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 6 big, perfectly ripe strawberries
02 - 2 sprigs fresh lavender
03 - 480 millilitres water (just out of the fridge and cold)
04 - 480 millilitres regular water
05 - 480 millilitres Meyer lemon juice, freshly squeezed
06 - 100 grams white sugar

→ Optional

07 - Some drops of lavender oil that's safe to eat

# Steps:

01 - Right away, pour over lots of ice-filled glasses and enjoy.
02 - Pour what you've got through a strainer into a big pitcher. Toss out the chunky bits. Add that super cold water and, if you want, the lavender oil. Stir until it's all mixed up.
03 - Take it off the stove, toss in the lavender sprigs and strawberries (just chop 'em up a bit first). Let it just chill and soak for about 15 minutes so the tastes really come out.
04 - In your saucepan, mix white sugar, Meyer lemon juice, and the first part of water. Warm it up on medium and stir so it melts together till the sugar's all gone.

# Notes:

01 - Meyer lemons bring a sweet, floral kick. If you only have regular lemons, you'll want to tweak the sugar to get it just right for you.
