02 - 200 grams shredded mozzarella
03 - 425 grams ricotta cheese

→ Sauce

04 - 720 ml marinara sauce

→ Seasonings & Garnish

05 - Salt to taste
06 - Fresh chopped basil or parsley for topping
07 - Black pepper as you like
08 - Onion powder as needed
09 - Garlic powder as desired

→ Pasta

10 - 22 jumbo pasta shells

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - After covering with foil, bake at 190°C for 25 minutes. Take off the foil and bake for 10 to 15 more minutes until cheese is golden and sauce bubbles.
02 - Pour half the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Fill each shell with the beef and cheese mix and place them seam side up. Then spoon the rest of the sauce on top and sprinkle with mozzarella.
03 - Stir the ricotta, half the fresh herbs, and cooked beef until well combined.
04 - Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Let it cool a bit after taking it off the heat.
05 - Bring water to a boil and cook jumbo pasta shells until just tender but still firm. Drain and let them cool down.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Make sure pasta is firm to the bite so it doesn’t get mushy after baking.
02 - Season the beef mix to your own taste.
03 - Swap the beef for plant-based crumbles or cooked veggies to make it meat-free.
