Texas Toast Snack (Printable Version)

Crunchy Texas toast smothered with gooey mozzarella, pepperoni, and herbs done fast in the air fryer.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 frozen slices of garlic Texas toast

→ Sauce

02 - 120 ml pizza sauce

→ Cheese

03 - 100 g mozzarella cheese shredded

→ Meat

04 - 60 ml mini pepperoni or cooked sausage slices

→ Seasoning

05 - 1/4 tsp Italian herbs

→ Optional toppings

06 - Bell peppers diced
07 - Olives sliced
08 - Mushrooms sliced

→ Optional garnish

09 - Red pepper flakes
10 - Fresh basil leaves

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Turn the air fryer on to 190°C and let it heat up for 3 minutes.
02 - Arrange the frozen Texas toast in one layer inside the basket. Air fry for 3 or 4 minutes until the edges get a little crispy.
03 - Take out the toast carefully. Spread pizza sauce over each piece. Sprinkle lots of shredded mozzarella. Add mini pepperoni or sausage on top. Throw on any veggies you want and finish with some Italian seasoning.
04 - Put the loaded toast back in the air fryer and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Wait till the cheese bubbles up and turns golden.
05 - Pull the toasts out, add fresh basil or red pepper flakes if you like, and eat right away.
