Keep the Mandarin oranges in their syrup; do not drain. Chop the pineapple and bananas into uniform bite-sized chunks.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruit pieces including the undrained Mandarin oranges.

Evenly sprinkle the dry vanilla pudding mix over the fruit. Do not add milk as you would for regular pudding preparation.

Stir the mixture thoroughly until all fruit pieces are evenly coated with the pudding mix. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

Portion into individual servings of approximately one cup each.
